How to look after Piña

This striking plant is really special. Known as a Pineapple plant, it’s a type of Bromeliad that grows a miniature pineapple on top of its sword-shaped leaves. We wouldn’t recommend eating it (the fruit can sometimes be toxic) but it makes for a really striking plant to have in your home. Best of all, it’s very easy to look after – to help it grow, pop it in the brightest spot you can find and water it regularly (it will need even more if it’s sitting in the sun).

Piña comes with Patch’s Ceramic glazed pot in Blue. These hand-moulded pots are painted with a special glaze that forms a crackled finish as it’s fired. We recommend removing your plant from its decorative pot when watering, and allowing any excess water to drain away. Due to the nature of the material, excess water may escape.
