Moonpig turns 25! That’s a lot of cards (and cake)!

We’re officially 25! That’s right – Moonpig has hit a quarter of a century of big birthdays, teary anniversaries, cheeky Valentine’s cards and “Oops I forgot!” moments (we’ve all been there).

What started back in 2000 with one big idea – to make sending cards more personal, more fun, and a lot more convenient – has now become over half a billion moments made, shared, and remembered. Yes, billion with a B. That’s a lot of happy tears and mantlepieces full of Moonpig magic.

Our journey to global gifting legends

Founded by Nick Jenkins in the year of dial-up and low-rise jeans, Moonpig has come a long way. What started as a new way to send cards has grown into the online home for personalised celebrations – think top-notch cards, thoughtful gifts, letterbox flowers and even experience vouchers you can pop inside your card.

Our cards now come with 14 incredible personalisation features, from video messages to voice notes and even an AI writing assistant (because finding the words can be hard – we get it). And we’re still pushing the envelope (literally): our new AI Stickers feature is here, letting you generate your own one-of-a-kind sticker with just a prompt. Your card, your way.

25 years, countless moments
