How to look after Piña
This exotic-looking plant is known, unsurprisingly, as a Pineapple plant, thanks to the miniature pineapple that grows on top of its leaves. While we wouldn’t recommend eating it (the fruit can sometimes be toxic), it makes for a striking plant to have in your home. Despite how spectacular it is, it’s surprisingly easy to look after. Just give it lots of bright light and water it regularly (especially if it’s in a sunny spot – growing that pineapple is thirsty work).
Piña comes with Patch’s Ceramic glazed pot in Rust. These hand-moulded pots are painted with a special glaze that forms a crackled finish as it’s fired. We recommend removing your plant from its decorative pot when watering, and allowing any excess water to drain away. Due to the nature of the material, excess water may escape.
