Moonpig Ireland - Leaving Cert Results 2026 Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The Parties Moonpig.com Limited ("Moonpig", "we", "our" or "us") is the promoter of this Competition. Moonpig's registered office is Herbal House, 10 Back Hill, London, England, EC1R 5EN. A participant refers to any eligible entrant to the Competition ("Participant", "you" or "your"). By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

2. The Competition

2.1. Moonpig is running the Moonpig Ireland - Leaving Cert Results 2026 Competition (the "Competition") to celebrate Leaving Cert Results Day by awarding one Participant a contribution towards their first year of third-level education. 2.2. The Competition is free to enter. No purchase is necessary.

2.3. The Competition opens on 17 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 (Irish time) on 31 August 2026 ("Competition Period"). Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility 3.1. The Competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland only.

3.2. You may enter if: A. you sat the June 2026 Leaving Certificate; or B. you are a parent or legal guardian entering on behalf of your child who sat the June 2026 Leaving Certificate.

3.3. Only one entry is permitted per student.

3.4. To receive the prize, the winner must have accepted a place on, or enrolled in, a recognised third-level course in Ireland for the 2026/27 academic year on or before 14 September 2026.

3.5. A Participant, and any student on whose behalf an entry is submitted, is not eligible to enter or receive a prize if they are an employee, officer or director of Moonpig or any company in the Moonpig group; an employee, officer or director of Agency Fourteen, Essence North MediaCom or JotForm; or otherwise directly involved in the design, administration, promotion, judging or fulfilment of the Competition. This exclusion also applies to their spouses or civil partners, close family members and other connected persons, including business partners and their families. Moonpig may require reasonable evidence to verify eligibility.

4. How to Enter

4.1. During the Competition Period, complete the entry form on the Moonpig landing page.

4.2. As part of your entry, you must provide the information requested on the entry form and submit an original written response of between 100 and 150 words explaining: I. what finishing school means to you; and II. how winning would help you begin your next chapter.

4.3. Only entries submitted during the Competition Period will be considered.

4.4. Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.

5. Winner Selection

5.1. Eligible entries will be judged by a panel comprising representatives of Moonpig, Agency Fourteen and an independent judge.

5.2. Entries will be assessed against the following criteria: I. originality; II. how clearly the Participant explains what finishing school means to them; and III. how clearly the Participant explains how winning would help them begin their next chapter.

5.3. The judging panel will shortlist entries and select one winner based on these criteria.

5.4. Before the prize is awarded, the selected Participant's eligibility will be verified, including confirmation that they have accepted a place on, or enrolled in, a recognised third-level course in Ireland for the 2026/27 academic year.

5.5. If the selected Participant is ineligible, cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required timeframe or does not satisfy these Terms, Moonpig may select the next highest-scoring eligible Participant.

6. The Prize

6.1. There is one (1) prize.

6.2. The winner will receive a contribution of up to €2,500 towards their first year of third-level education costs for the 2026/27 academic year.

6.3. The amount paid may vary depending on the student contribution payable by the winner to their recognised third-level institution, but will not exceed €2,500.

6.4. The prize will be paid directly to the winner's recognised third-level institution.

6.5. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

6.6. The winner is solely responsible for any personal tax liabilities arising from the acceptance or receipt of the prize. Moonpig accepts no responsibility for any taxes, duties or other charges that may become payable by the winner in connection with the prize, and winners are advised to seek independent tax advice where appropriate.

7. Winner Notification

7.1. The winner will be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the end of the Competition Period using the contact details provided in their entry.

7.2. The winner must respond within seven (7) days of being contacted.

7.3. Before the prize is awarded, the winner must provide: I. confirmation that they have accepted a place on, or enrolled in, a recognised third-level course in Ireland (for example, a CAO offer acceptance or confirmation of enrolment); II. proof of identity, if requested; and III. any other information reasonably required to verify their eligibility.

7.4. Evidence of acceptance or enrolment must be provided by 14 September 2026.

7.5. Once eligibility has been verified, Moonpig will arrange payment of the prize to the winner's educational institution within 28 days.

8. Publicity

8.1. Moonpig may publish the winner's first name and county and, where separately agreed to by the winner, their photograph or image in connection with the Competition across Moonpig's social media channels, public relations activity and communications with the Competition's radio partner.

9. Personal Data

9.1. Moonpig will process personal information provided in connection with the Competition for the purpose of administering the Competition, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and arranging fulfilment of the prize.

9.2. Personal information may be shared with third parties involved in administering the Competition, including Agency Fourteen and JotForm, where necessary for those purposes.

10. General

10.1. By entering the Competition, you confirm that your submission is your own original work, has not been copied from another person or source, does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party, and is not defamatory, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.

10.2. You retain ownership of your submission. By entering the Competition, you grant Moonpig a non-exclusive, worldwide (i.e the licence applies anywhere in the world), royalty-free (i.e Participants are not paid for the licence) licence to use, reproduce, publish and display your submission for the purposes of administering, promoting and publicising the Competition.

10.3. Moonpig reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms.

10.4. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

10.5. Any disputes relating to the Competition or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
