Acknowledging Bereaved Fathers
Father’s Day can be a particularly difficult time for fathers who have experienced the loss of a child. An estimated one in four families will experience the death of a baby during pregnancy or infancy. This collection of sympathy cards was created to support and acknowledge these fathers, the card is made free with code WITHLOVE. This initiative is part of a heartfelt collaboration with the Star Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss. Moonpig is making a $10,000 donation to the charity, to help fund their vital work in research, education, and bereavement support.
About The Collection
After the release of our Bereaved Mothers Collection, Star Legacy received several requests for a collection for fathers. This new, limited edition card collection includes a range of designs that honor the tenderness and complexity of loss, and were created by hand in watercolor by a staff member at the charity who has experienced loss herself. The card designs feature soothing colors and a night sky motif, creating a gentle and comforting visual metaphor for honoring the enduring bond between bereaved fathers and their children this Father's Day.Star Legacy x Moonpig
