We know finding the right card for your unique family can be tough. Most cards out there are designed for one type of family — and that just doesn’t reflect the world we live in! That’s why we teamed up with Rainbow Families to create something different. The collection of five beautifully designed cards features heartfelt messages and inclusive illustrations that reflect the diversity of modern families. It’s a celebration of love, care, and support in all its beautiful forms. Every purchase from this limited-edition card range directly supports Rainbow Families — a not-for-profit organisation working to connect, empower, and advocate for LGBTQ+ parents and their children.

About Rainbow Families

We have a vision of a community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) families across Australia, where each family is included, respected and has value. Rainbow Families is the peak organisation supporting LGBTQ+ parents and their children. As a community organisation run by LGBTQ+ families, we act as a support network for parents and carers, their children as well as future parents and carers. The mission of Rainbow Families is to build a community which fosters resiliency by connecting, supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ families.

Growing Demand for Inclusivity

Traditional cards don’t reflect the diverse realities of modern families and limited options leave many feeling excluded. In fact, Google search data shows that since 2020, “LGBTQ+ Mother’s Day cards” have returned more searches than “Mother’s Day cards” in Australia - demonstrating the demand for increased representation in cards. Mother’s Day can be bittersweet for diverse families says Petria Leggo-Field, QLD State Coordinator at Rainbow Families. Many families in the Rainbow Families community don’t fit into a box, they don’t have a mum and a dad, and buying cards and gifts is difficult. That’s why we are delighted to work with Moonpig to create an inclusive Mother’s Day card range
