Our cards & gifts are fulfilled in Australia from either our Melbourne or Sydney sites, and delivered using the Australia Post network.

Australia Post Standard Letter

  • Estimated delivery: 2–6 working days depending on destination

  • No tracking available (standard letter service)

  • Please allow additional time for delivery to more rural parts of Australia

Express Delivery

  • Australia Post Express service

  • Typically faster with delivery confirmation

  • Estimated delivery: 1–3 working days depending on destination

  • Tracking available

Gifts Delivery

  • Shipped via Australia Post Parcel services

  • Estimated delivery: 1–3 working days, depending on destination and service

  • Tracking available

  • Please allow additional time for delivery to more rural parts of Australia

Order Cut-off Times

  • Orders before 2 PM local time at printing site are processed & dispatched same day

  • Orders after 2 PM local time at printing site are processed next business day

  • Public holidays may affect dispatch and delivery times

Please note:

  • Double check your address to avoid delivery issues

  • While we control the dispatch date, actual arrival depends on Australia Post. Please allow an extra 1–2 days if possible

  • Public holidays and Australia Post network disruptions can affect delivery times

Delivery Guarantee

What products does the Delivery Guarantee apply to?

The Delivery Guarantee applies to all gifts and cards ordered on the Moonpig Australia website (moonpig.com/au/) or any Moonpig mobile application to a recipient in Australia, where the Australia Post “Guaranteed Delivery” option is selected.

Please see the “General” section of these terms for all exclusions.

What is the Delivery Guarantee?

Delivery Guarantee means we will deliver all gifts and cards on or before your requested delivery date selected at checkout. In the event that the delivery is made after the requested delivery date, please contact our Customer Service Team.

What if the delivery arrives after your guaranteed delivery day?

If your gift has not been delivered to the recipient by 8pm in their Australian local time zone (AEST, ACST or AWST) on your guaranteed delivery date, you can contact our Customer Service Team in the following ways:

  • Chat – available between the hours of 6pm AEST to 2:30am AEST, 7 days a week (excluding UK bank holidays)

The Customer Service Team will then investigate your complaint with Australia Post, and if your complaint is successful, Moonpig will credit your Moonpig Money account with the amount you paid for postage.

General

The Delivery Guarantee will not apply:

  • In the event of exceptional or unforeseen circumstances outside of Moonpig’s control which impact delivery (this includes any operational issues within Australia Post)

  • To orders that have the wrong delivery address

  • To orders that cannot be delivered due to the recipient not being home

  • To orders delivered to recipients outside of Australia
