We’ve applied numerous measures to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, which means our production process is running a little slower than usual, but we are doing everything we can to ensure your messages reach their destinations as soon as possible. At Moonpig, we strongly believe in the importance of sending your kind words to people you love, especially during these unprecedented times. We will be back up and running shortly, but in the meantime, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
While the coronavirus pandemic is a very fast-moving situation, we want you to know that the safety of our staff and our customers are our biggest priority. We're following the government's recommendations daily and making changes immediately as new guidelines are announced.
For the time being, the government recommends that online businesses should continue to stay open, that is why we’re doing everything in our power to keep things moving, to keep you connected, and to keep helping you send a little bit of love to the people who mean the most to you.
That said, we’ve done everything we can to make sure that our colleagues stay protected and that our products are safe. Amongst other measures, we have:
Reduced our capacity and limited people at our production site to skeleton staff, making sure that everyone who handles customer products is following the latest guidance given by the government and health authorities -including the creation of a separation zone of more than two meters between them.
We’ve also limited our gifts & flowers range. All current products advertised on the website have been stockpiled some time ago and are stored in secure warehouses where similar safety measures have also been implemented.
We are also keeping in touch with our suppliers constantly to make sure that they follow stringent measures to protect their staff, and our delivery partners are following social distancing wherever possible by leaving deliveries on doorsteps.
But as you all know, this is a very fast-moving situation so we’re changing our approach daily to make sure we safeguard our staff and our communities.
Stay Safe,
MP
